Mitchell's surreal, intricate artwork for the band's posters and sleeves was inspired by his teenage obsession with the work of the occultist Aleister Crowley. Mitchell's second-hand copies of occult books by Crowley and others were stamped with the name of so-called Galloping Gourmet Graham Kerr, the first modern celebrity chef.
David Mitchell became a central member of The 3Ds and The Ghost Club and is a talented artist/cartoonist residing in London.
Andrew Moon re-emerged in Celine and RST, a solo free noise project in the 1990s.
