The decades of the New Zealand Music Awards, from 1965 onwards, have not only been about the awards, they've also been an often rowdy social event, with after parties often flowing on towards the morning. Whilst many pictures perhaps best remain unpublished, we've put together a page of some of these over the years. Sadly many years, especially the earlier years, are missing but these candid shots give a fairly decent impression of the atmosphere that often follows the awards and many familiar faces are here.
