Aldous Harding

aka Hannah Harding

Aldous Harding is one of the most beguiling, intense, and theatrical performers of her generation anywhere in the world, and one of the most successful recording exports Aotearoa has ever produced.

An Aldous Harding performance is a wonder to behold. At different times she stalks the stage like a caged animal, hunching over her beaten six-string, mouth gurning, eyes fluttering into the back of her head as if possessed. Then she’ll stare menacingly into the eyes of an audience member before picking up a shaker and shuffling her hips, smile wide and nose crinkled.
