Fur Patrol

A New Zealand band bursts into national consciousness, tops the charts and relocates to Australia to build momentum. In many ways Fur Patrol followed a well-trodden path and, like many other bands, their story includes the waxing and waning of self-belief, clocking up the miles in crappy vans, contractual grief and those shining moments on stage or in the studio that made all the other stuff disappear.

What didn’t happen was world domination, but Fur Patrol’s legacy – two EPs, three albums and a collection of memorable singles – demands respect.
