Dave Goodison

Dave Goodison has been Gin Wigmore’s musical director for over a decade and recently became her co-writer and producer. His history as a musician goes back much further and across a remarkable range of styles, from thrash metal with AnigmA to punk with City Newton Bombers, lounge music with the Peter Stuyvesant Hit List and chart-topping pop as assistant producer on Ben Lummis’s debut album.

Goodison’s family first noticed his obsession with guitar as a six year old, when he jumped on top of a piano to mime an air guitar part on a tennis racquet. His aunt told his parents that if they didn’t buy him a guitar, then she would. A few years later, he began taking lessons and by the first year of high school he had his first band.
