Malcolm McCallum

In July 1978 Malcolm McCallum’s career was set to ignite in Australia. With a new album featuring the Little River Band rhythm section and top Melbourne session players, he was flown between Melbourne and Sydney to meet CBS executive staff.

He also appeared on Countdown and his first Australian single ‘Who Is Your Love For?’ was added by Sydney hit-making radio station 2SM. But three days later, the station inexplicably pulled the song and McCallum’s career struggled to regain momentum.
