Truda Chadwick

Truda Chadwick was born in Wellington but raised in the eastern Bay of Plenty, where she attended the Te Kaha Native School. She started playing guitar at age six and although music surrounded her and was to follow her into the future, by her own admission she was in her 30s before she addressed it seriously.

There was a spot of modelling in Auckland and Sydney, a spell in promotions at RCA Records, marriage (and, later, divorce), occasional talent quests and jumping on stage when opportunities arose.
