Timmy Schumacher

aka Tim Adam

Ask anyone who went out to Auckland clubs in the 90s or 00s and the name Timmy Schumacher will conjure up a heaving dancefloor in an underground club with bass rattling the floorboards and a tall guy in a baseball cap at the decks, grinning as he lines up the next big tune.

In the new millennium Schumacher turned his hand to production, leading to a run of international releases that saw his music played by some of the most influential breakbeat DJs in the world. As part of Baitercell and Schumacher, he released an album through Aquasky’s Passenger Records and created one of the label’s biggest selling 12"s.
