aka Demetrius Savelio

Savage was at the forefront of the New Zealand hip hop explosion in the mid-00s and achieved Top 10 singles on both sides of the Tasman. His track ‘Swing’ had a second life after being featured on the movie Knocked Up, and Savage spent years immersed in the US hip hop circuit.

He then showed his versatility by reigniting his career in the Australian dance scene, with a run of massive hits, cementing his place as the most successful New Zealand rapper of his generation.
